This plot shows the distributions of catering costs with the option to look at:

Dropdown control

1. Total amount, which is the catering costs, calculated from survey question 40. Running costs: Catering.

2. Total amount per pupil, calculated as catering costs divided by the total number of pupils. The total number of pupils is calculated from survey question 13. Number of pupils by boarding type as at 31 August.

3. Percentage (%) of net fees, calculated as catering costs divided by Net fee income.

4. Percentage (%) of total expenditure, calculated as catering costs divided by the total expenditure.
